Resetting Exchange Password

Resetting Password

Since the Exchange server is not our domain, your Exchange email password will not expire with your windows login password. You will need to go to the following website to reset your Exchange email password:

https://mlans.tamu.edu/iisadmpwd

Click Yes on the Security Alert window and fill in the required information as follows:

Domain: mlans
Account: <your_username>
Old password: <your_old_password>
New password: <new_password>
Confirm new password: <new_password>

NOTE: All passwords must meet the following requirements:

  • Cannot contain any or all of the user's name.
  • Must be at least 8 characters.
  • Must contain characters from 3 of the following categories.
    • Uppercase English letters, (A to Z)
    • Lowercase English letters, (a to z)
    • Number 0 to 9
    • Non-alphanumeric character, (!, @, #, $, etc.)
You will not receive notification when your Exchange email password expires. We suggest that you reset your Exchange email password either when your windows login password or your NetID password expire since you receive notification when they expire.  This will prevent an interruption in mail service.
